Back to basics! Feel like doing nothing for a while? We welcome you in our cozy cottage on the edge of the forest on the beautiful Veluwe. On a small park in the village of Krachtighuizen near Putten. An ideal place to relax, unwind and recharge. Be completely alone and enjoy nature, birdsong and a daily view of the sheep in the meadow. Experience with us the simplicity of outdoor life. The cottage is suitable for one or two persons, has a living room/kitchen, bathroom with shower/toilet, bedroom with double bed. A large sunny garden with several seats, also in the shade. In a locked shed you will find garden cushions and parasol. There is no wifi, but sufficient 4G-5G reception. Would you still like to watch a nice series, download it on your Ipad or connect your laptop to the television screen. But better yet; listen to nature and silence.
Nature and surroundings
There are numerous walks and bike rides to take, through the woods or over beautiful moors. From our house you can walk or cycle straight into the forest. Within walking distance is the oldest forest in the Netherlands, the Speulderbos, with its dancing trees. Within cycling distance the sheepfold in Ermelo, picturesque Garderen, picking gardens with local products and many other beautiful villages with nice markets and terraces. Or visit the larger cities in the area for museums, theater or cinema. But staying at home and enjoying the cottage and garden with a good book is also highly recommended.
