Welcome to our cozy, bright wooden cottage with spacious living room, one bedroom (made bed 160x200cm, closets), bathroom (shower, toilet and sink), very well-equipped kitchenette (but without dishwasher, microwave, freezer). The living room has cozy corners: a soft sofa by the wood stove, round dining table with chairs, armchair and hammock overlooking the garden. The cottage looks warm and colorful because of the many wood, vintage furnishings, cozy light and the many plants. It is fully equipped. There is no television, but there is good Internet and books and board games in the closet. Enjoy the quiet nights and Sunday rest. The nature house is surrounded by a garden (not fenced, but water) with several sitting areas and you can enjoy the water, the birds, ducks, sun and shade, fresh herbs and fruit and the rustling of the wind in the reeds. Nature and surroundings
This cottage is on quiet, small-scale old vacation park in the middle of the Netherlands, in the fruit region of Gelderland, sandwiched between fruit trees, grasslands with cows and the Lower Rhine River. There are no facilities on the park itself, but there is a lake where you can swim, surf, sunbathe and fish. And an old orchard where in summer and fall you can pick unsprayed fruit such as currants, apples and pears. You're within walking distance of the river with floodplains and an organic dairy farmer, and nearby are several Klompen trails. But you can also get out and about with the two bikes that are available for free. There is a bus stop in the quiet village of Ingen (15 min walk) and a supermarket in neighboring village Lienden (15 min bike ride). Nearby are places like Tiel, Buren, Rhenen and Wageningen. Across the Lower Rhine (ferry or bridge) are further the wooded Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the historic Grebbeberg and Ouwehands Dierenpark. Even the Veluwe is not far away.
