The basic log cabin is located in a biodiverse paradise that offers off grid recreating for family or group of 2 to 6 people, for a simple and quiet stay with lots of natural beauty. The forest park has lawns, seating areas, a fire pit and ponds. Be careful with small children! Near the cabin are the covered garden room, also fine in less beautiful weather, and the forest kitchen (see pictures) vega cooking please. In the kitchen are a 4 burner stove, a sink and a cupboard with plates, mugs and cutlery. There is a toilet, compost toilet solar shower and solar 12 volts, to charge your mobile phone. Everything is basic and there is good 4 or 5 G coverage. Bring your own laundry such as sheets, tea and towels. Blankets are plenty, so you also rent access to the entire park with mega views, flowers frogs and the cozy fire pit. Wood costs 10 euros per box. Be quiet outside after 9:30. This beautiful place is also suitable for groups of like minded people for spiritual, nature, and creative meetings.
Nature and surroundings
Located in our beautiful estate with max Biodiversity ! The nature on the estate, in the natural park of the two Ourthes and natura 2000 is overwhelming. The clear flowing river Ourthe is nearby. In the meadows, forests, huge rock formations and the spacious sky live deer and boars, badgers, raccoons, beavers, foxes and ravens. Kingfishers, squirrels and very occasionally even cranes, the eagle owl and the wolf. The area is famous for its beauty and people come here to hike, mtb, canoe, climb and swim. There are reservoirs and beaches as well as animal parks and caves. In La Roche, with its imposing medieval castle and in Houffalize and Bastogne, it is cozy with terraces, restaurants, tourist offices, stores, museums and markets. Also because of the environment, our paradise is very suitable for families and groups of people who want to experience off grid in all the tranquility, space and beauty of Mother Nature.
