Inside you will find a fully equipped open kitchen including a gas stove and dishwasher, a cozy sitting area with sofa and two armchairs, a dining table, the bathroom, and a wooden staircase to the upper floor. There you will find two bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed (160x200 cm) and a crib, and one with two single beds (90x200 cm). The cottage is in a special spot in the outskirts of Mussel. On our 1.7-acre property, which we call our "forest park," there is plenty of room to wander and explore. You are free to use the grounds, which also include our own house, another bungalow and two hiker's huts. There are sheltered corners and surprising vistas. The planting is largely native, with a nice mix of manicured and rugged, so the grounds attract many animals. We decided to share our piece of nature through small-scale rentals, because we are surprised daily by everything that lives and flourishes here. Deer roam the fields, owls make themselves heard in the evening, a fox has its stronghold here and even a kingfisher breeds here. It is never completely quiet here - but it is the most beautiful kind of silence there is.The area around Westerwolde is a paradise for hikers and cyclists.
