Our B&B has 5 rooms (3 double rooms and 2 family rooms) and is part of a renovated farmhouse built in 1787. It has been renovated with attention to sustainable materials and renewable energy. The 1.5 ha garden radiates tranquility above all. In every corner are lounge furniture and garden benches, where you can enjoy different views. The open landscape with view on the Ijzer provides an instant feeling of tranquility; Just slow down and enjoy the silence at only 5 km from the border with France. All rooms have contemporary comfort (minibar-TV-rain shower-air conditioning- luxury box spring) and radiate their own atmosphere. The family rooms have 2 separate bedrooms. One is located on the ground floor and is wheelchair accessible. All rooms also have a private terrace or balcony. In the morning, guests are spoiled with an extensive breakfast buffet with all kinds of local products and our own pastries. An ode to all the goodies the region has to offer.
Nature and surroundings
The location is ideal for those looking for peace and quiet as well as for active people with opportunities for hiking, cycling and excursions to historic towns such as Poperinge, Veurne and Ypres or to the charming villages of the Westhoek. A trip to the North Sea or French Flanders is also not far away. A stay at the Oversteekhof encourages you to take time for yourself and enjoy to the fullest, to really recharge and return home with a full heart. Enjoy the best of the Westhoek.
