This house has just that little bit more. Underfloor heating on the ground floor, solar panels on the roof, an energy-efficient heat pump and a built-in fireplace - comfort and sustainability have been thought of here. In winter, the house is already warm upon arrival, so you can relax immediately. The bright living room with tiled floor, two comfortable sofas and armchairs invites you to linger. The kitchen is fully equipped including washing machine, useful for longer vacations. Two bathrooms, one on each floor, make the morning rush pleasant. The three bedrooms have lovely Auping beds. Outside, a tiled terrace with picnic table and garden furniture awaits.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located in Izier, a quiet village in the Belgian Ardennes, surrounded by forests and meadows that are part of a Natura 2000 area. Sustainable enjoyment of nature it fits exactly with this cottage. Step outside and follow a path into the greenery, past streams, open plains and shady forest edges. Hiking and cycling routes start directly from the area. And for those ready for a little more conviviality, Durbuy is about a 20-minute drive away. Stroll through the medieval streets, taste local Ardennes delicacies or go kayaking on the Ourthe. Then return to the warmth of the underfloor heating and a good glass of wine by the fireplace.
