Overlooking the forest while a babbling brook flows past your terrace that is the image that comes with this cottage. The sunny terrace with hardwood garden furniture is the place where you wake up with coffee in the morning and don't want to leave in the evening.Inside, the built-in fireplace, the original tiled floor and the comfortable seating area provide a warm and cozy atmosphere.The kitchen has been renovated and equipped with all the comforts, from induction stove to combi oven. The bedrooms have wonderful box spring beds. With two toilets, a renovated bathroom and three bedrooms, the cottage is comfortably equipped for six people. In short, everything for a carefree stay.
Nature and surroundings
The babbling brook in front of the terrace is just a taste of what the area has to offer. Izier is located in the middle of the Belgian Ardennes, in a Natura 2000 area where forests, stream valleys and rolling meadows alternate. Here nature is still really quiet, green and full of life. Deer, birds and butterflies are no exception but the most natural thing in the world. Hiking and cycling routes start directly from the area, for a quiet hour or a whole day on the road. And those ready for some city fun: Durbuy is about a 20-minute drive away. Medieval streets, local delicacies and the Ourthe for a kayaking adventure just stretch your legs and then return to that terrace with the sound of the stream.
