The fireplace completes the picture on cool evenings, but the real eye-catcher is the terrace. A large teak table for eight, two sunbeds, a gas barbecue and even a patio heater so you can stay outside even on cooler evenings. Inside, the kitchen is modern and fully equipped, from Nespresso and milk frother to a juicer for fresh gravy. Central heating with individual thermostats ensures that everyone is comfortable in their own way. And for the gamers among guests: a PlayStation 3 with games is at the ready.
Nature and surroundings
The Ardennes at its most beautiful begin here on your doorstep. Izier is in the middle of a Natura 2000 area, where forests, stream valleys and rolling hills alternate. Hiking and cycling routes start directly from the area from a quiet morning walk to a brisk day trip through the hills. Along the way you'll spot deer, hares and a rich bird population that makes this area so special.Durbuy is about a 20-minute drive away. The world's smallest town has plenty to offer for an enjoyable outing - stroll the medieval streets, sample local delicacies or take a kayak on the Ourthe River. But honestly, chances are that after a day in nature, you'll just want to stay on that terrace.
