Unwind in this cozy, fully renovated cottage on the edge of the Butterfly Valley at Domaine Le Boulac. The large fenced wooden terrace is the absolute trump card, safe for the little ones, wonderfully relaxing for the big ones. Plop down, listen to the birds and let the view over the green valley do its work.Inside, it feels right away. The soapstone stove provides warmth and atmosphere, the sofa invites you to stay and the kitchen has everything you need. Just make some coffee (filter or Senseo, you choose) and the day can begin. Books, DVDs, games and toys are at the ready, but frankly that terrace always draws you outside.
Nature and surroundings
Right behind the front door, nature begins. The cottage is located in Izier, in the middle of a Natura 2000 area where the Butterfly Valley stretches between forest and greenery. Step outside and stroll among the trees, spotting butterflies and birds or follow one of the hiking and biking routes that leave directly from the park. The rolling Ardennes landscape lends itself perfectly to a bike ride or a quiet walk with the whole family. And for those who want to enjoy a little more coziness: Durbuy is about a 20-minute drive away. The smallest town in the world has streets to get lost in, terraces to sit on and the Ourthe to kayak on. That's really all you need.
