In the beautiful surroundings of Zutphen lies hamlet Tonden You spend the night in a so-called mobile home, or a house on wheels. But a cottage of 3 by 8 meters. It offers space for 2 to 4 people. There is a lot of privacy, you do not have to share the facilities with us. You can quietly enjoy the rural surroundings, the chickens and the beautiful view from the jacuzzi. And when the sun shines, you can even enjoy your own terrace. In the mobile homes or outside on the terrace, breakfast is brought by me in the morning. I bring breakfast at the time you want. The breakfast is organic and/or with products from the area. If you have any dietary needs, please let me know when booking. You can enjoy two wellness facilities at this nature house, the wood-fired sauna and the Jacuzzi.
Nature and surroundings
Tonden is a hamlet in the municipality of Brummen, located in a rich environment for hikers and cyclists. West of Tonden is the vast nature reserve the Empese and Tondense Heide, a beautiful area to explore on foot. The Hanseatic city of Zutphen, with its historic center, medieval streets, numerous cozy eateries and unique stores, can be reached within 10 minutes by bike or car. There are various activities in Zutphen, such as a city walk (with or without a guide) or a trip with the whisper boat on the Berkel. This cruise takes you along surprising places and offers much insight into the rich history of this Hanseatic city. For more information, please visit inzutphen.nl In addition, Deventer, the oldest city in the Netherlands, and Apeldoorn, known for the Apenheul and Het Loo Palace, are also easy to reach. The smallest monumental town in the Netherlands, Bronckhorst, is about 17 kilometers from Tonden.
