Nature house in Tonden

Awesome! We combined our stay with a day trip to Deventer, a quiet evening of drinks, and an overnight stay in the Pipo wagon. The hosts are incredibly friendly people. Upon arrival, Ellen explained everything to us. There were three of us, and the sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly: two in the box bed and one on the sofa bed (a mattress topper, comforter, and pillow are provided). The decor and amenities in the cottage were perfect: plenty of plates, cups, and cutlery; a Nespresso machine (including pods) and even a milk frother. And a shout-out for something specific that I always miss in every vacation rental: there were plenty of hooks here to hang your things on :-). The shower was great, with nice toiletries. We thoroughly enjoyed the large, lovely hot tub. Breakfast in the morning was the icing on the cake, with delicious yogurt, croissants, rolls (with various fillings, including salmon), and orange juice. Highly recommended!

Geweldig! We hebben ons verblijf gecombineerd met een dagje Deventer en een rustig borrel-avondje en overnachting in de pipo-wagen. De hosts zijn ontzettend vriendelijke mensen. Bij aankomst heeft Ellen ons alles uitgelegd. We waren met zijn drieën en dit paste met slapen prima; twee in de bedstee en eentje op de slaapbank (topper, dekbed en kussen komen hierbij). De inrichting en voorzieningen in het huisje waren perfect: genoeg bordjes, kopjes, bestek; een Nespresso-apparaat (incl. cupjes) en zelfs een melkopschuimer. En een complimentje voor iets specifieks dat ik in iéder vakantieverblijf mis: hier waren genoeg haakjes om je spullen aan op te hangen :-). De douche was goed met fijne wasproducten. We hebben ontzettend genoten van de grote, fijne jacuzzi. Het ontbijtje 's ochtends was de kers op de taart met lekkere yoghurt, croissantjes, broodjes (met divers beleg o.a. zalm) en jus. Een echte aanrader!

The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and rural, and I think they’re perfect for hiking and biking. We thought the rest stop for hikers on the property was really cute and a great idea. The property is cozy and inviting, with lots of greenery, and you have plenty of privacy in and around the mobile home—you’re separate from the residents’ living area. We really enjoyed the outdoor table and umbrella, the sunset over the garden, and the view of the meadow. It feels like “the middle of nowhere” (meadows, but with neighbors)—exactly what we, as city girls, were looking for—yet you can still reach the surrounding towns in no time.

De omgeving is ontzettend rustgevend en landelijk en volgens mij erg geschikt om te wandelen en fietsen. We vonden het rustpunt voor wandelaars op het erf heel schattig en een leuk idee. Het erf is knus en gezellig, met veel groen, en in/om de pipowagen heb je veel privacy, je bent apart van het gedeelte van de bewoners. We hebben erg genoten van de buitentafel en parasol, van de zonsondergang boven de tuin en het weiland waar je op uitkijkt. Het voelt als 'the middle of nowhere' (weilanden maar wel met buren) - precies wat wij als stadse meisjes zochten - maar toch sta je snel in omliggende plaatsen.

A lovely little house, very cozy. Everything was spotless, and the sauna and hot tub were wonderful. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast!

Mooi huisje, heel knus. Alles goed schoon, heerlijke sauna en jacuzzi. En niet te vergeten een heerlijk ontbijt!

Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and surrounded by nature. From the terrace, you have a view of the garden and a stretch of pasture in the background. Falling asleep to the sounds of chickens, sheep, and cows, and waking up to the rooster crowing—it’s wonderful!

Prachtige omgeving, rustig en in het groen. Vanaf het terras heb je zicht op de tuin en een stuk weiland in de achtergrond. Gaan slapen met het geluid van kippen, schapen en koeien en gewekt worden door de haan, heerlijk!

A beautiful mobile home—even better than expected! Clean and cozy, with a wonderful spa experience and breakfast!

What a wonderful place to completely unwind! The mobile home has been decorated with such care and warmth, and the view of the vegetable garden makes it truly special. I had an incredibly lovely weekend here with two friends. We felt welcome right away and enjoyed the warm atmosphere and the great hospitality!

Breakfast was delicious and very generous, with the homemade gingerbread being the highlight! The friendly cat also made our stay extra cozy. The spa was wonderfully relaxing and exactly what we needed. And with the warm weather, the air conditioning was a real bonus!

Wat een heerlijke plek om even helemaal tot rust te komen! De pipowagen is met zoveel zorg en gezelligheid ingericht, en het uitzicht op de moestuin maakt het echt bijzonder. Samen met twee vriendinnen heb ik hier een ontzettend fijn weekend gehad. We voelden ons meteen welkom en hebben genoten van de warme sfeer en de goede zorgen!

Het ontbijt was heerlijk en erg uitgebreid, met als hoogtepunt de zelfgebakken ontbijtkoek! Ook de gezellige kat maakte het verblijf extra knus. De wellness was heerlijk ontspannend en precies wat we nodig hadden. En met het warme weer was de airco echt een fijne bonus!
