Would you like to experience sunrise in this modern furnished nature house in Kollum? This nature house has an insane view over the Kollumer canal with panoramic views. On this channel come with good weather many pleasure boats that do a tour around Dokkum or sail to the Lauwersmeer. Here you can go cycling from our house. There are numerous hiking and cycling routes. You sit wonderfully central, Dokkum (Frisian 11 -cities) Leeuwarden and Groningen. Kollum, is located in the extreme tip of Noard- Fryslan. Take the ferry to Schiermonnikoog or Ameland. Bring your fishing rod, because Kollum is surrounded by water. Or come and spend the night in the most complete cottage. With luxuriously equipped open kitchen. Chill out on the corner sofa. Where you can stay nice and private. Upstairs is the bedroom with 2 person box spring with a lovely shower, toilet and vanity.
Nature and surroundings
This cottage stands on the outskirts south-east of Kollum under a beautiful old Linden tree. On the border of the province of Groningen and Friesland. Both provinces offer many tourist activities. The nature house is a stone's throw from the Lauwersmeer, islands of Schiermonnikoog and Ameland. Numerous cycling and hiking routes in the area. Nearby you can rent a boat and explore the immediate area on the water. For the birdwatcher, the peace and nature lover you are in the perfect place. And do not forget to visit Nature Park the Alde Fennen near Eernewoude.

Amazing.
We came to this nature house for a small holiday. We biked from Groningen to Kollum, and spent three nights at the nature house. It is a very cozy, well-equipped and beautifully decorated cottage, and the host is very very nice. The house is located next to a canal, and from the big windows you can see a beautiful view of the farm and animals. The grocery stores are also only 4-min away for biking, it is very convenient to get anything you need. In total we enjoyed our stay very much!
