Welcome to my self-built dream cottage! Heart of the Veluwe lies this magical place that I have built with my own hands over the past six years. All my energy, love and time is in this house. Once I wanted to wait to rent it out until it was completely finished, but now I've realized: it's never really finished! So from now on I am open for your visit! The 70m2 house is built with green building materials - walls of loam and insulation of straw. The whole interior I collected second hand, and throughout the house you will find creative surprises :) The house is a work-in-progress! For example, last summer I worked hard on the new beautiful wood facade. But it is already (quote from visitor): "The most beautiful cottage in the Netherlands!" :) Good to know: * The bed is on the mezzanine, this requires a steep staircase! * Wifi is available, though with forest speed :) * Wood stove is present, but wood not included!
Nature and surroundings
For nature experience you actually do not have to leave the property with the garden of 2000m2! Deer regularly pass by and even the wolf was recently spotted in the garden of a neighbor. If you walk down the path, you are already among countless cycling and hiking trails of National Park the Veluwe. Going out or relaxing in a hammock, stargazing by a campfire or just reading a book in a special place: feel free & at home - it's all possible here! A personal note: this cottage is much more to me than a place to rent out. It is my intimate home-in-waiting. I love sharing it with like-minded people, but it also feels vulnerable to rent out. That is why it is important to treat the cottage and its surroundings with respect and care. I rent out my cottage because I want to continue realizing my dream. If you stay here, you will be a part of that adventure - I am already grateful for that. Oh and feel free to ask me a question! :)
