LOCATION The yurt has a lovely, spacious, green garden and, along with 8 other yurts, borders a pasture with Shetland ponies. The yurts are spaced far enough apart to ensure plenty of privacy. BACK TO BASICS The yurt has minimal amenities, yet you’ll camp with a sense of luxury. For example, there’s electricity, and running water comes from a water reservoir. You can refill this reservoir in the common area, where you’ll also dispose of wastewater. You’ll stay warm with a wood stove and relax in a hammock in the garden. COOKING The yurt has a spacious cooking area with a gas stove and oven. Outside, there’s a fire pit. WOOD STOVE Inside the yurt is a sturdy soapstone wood stove that keeps the yurt pleasantly warm even in winter. The soapstone means it takes a while for the stove to reach the right temperature. But once it’s up to temperature, it continues to give off heat for hours.

The green view from your garden, the yurt’s rounded shapes, and its natural materials offer you peace and a sense of relaxation. The cozy interior creates a pleasant and intimate atmosphere. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for hiking and enjoying the green landscape. The Waal River and the Groene Heuvels recreational lake are nearby. There are also farm animals and play areas for the children. Just a stone’s throw away, you can visit the city of Nijmegen, a city brimming with atmosphere and culture. Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 18 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
