In the old garden of our Eifel farmhouse, a historic circus wagon awaits its guests! We have restored the 8 meter long and 2.5 meter wide larch wood wagon with great attention to detail, expanded it and furnished it in a combination of nostalgic Eifel charm and French country house style. The wagon is framed by our quarry stone house built around 1880, the old garden, a field, the village road and old fruit trees. Above our 500 square meter property, a short path leads from the village road to a wooden gate, behind which the larch wood wagon is hidden. The circus wagon with a small outdoor area and wagon terrace is separated from the field, our house and the neighboring house by a picket fence and is exclusively available to the guests of the wagon. 2 - 3 people can spend the night in the circus wagon. A narrow bunk bed is located directly above the double bed. It is suitable for a child or a mobile adult.

I had only hoped for a good, beautiful, safe place. What I found was a gem of loving, high-quality design. As if the little house had been waiting for me. I have rarely experienced everything being so congruent, friendly, clean and coherent down to the last detail. Quite full, the car is small, but it feels good. Who knows Petterson and Findus? Something like that. Only not so improvised, more composed ;) I can't say much about point 3. I was just hiking and met lots of cyclists.
