A quietly situated nature house in the Morvan National Park, comfortably furnished, with an (unfenced) garden of approximately 200 m2, partially shaded by cherry and walnut trees, featuring a sunny gravel terrace and a side garden with a view. The vacation home “La Vigne de Montaugey” is the former gardener’s house on the property of a country estate. It’s the ideal place to unwind, go for walks, or enjoy the cultural, sporting, and other pleasures of Burgundy and the Morvan. You enter into the fully equipped kitchen with a kitchen table; next to it is the living room with a wood stove and a comfortable sofa set. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with a very comfortable double bed (200 x 160 cm). A second bedroom with two beds (190 x 90 cm), which can be pushed together to form a double bed if desired. Bathroom with a shower and one sink. Separate toilet. Floor area: 101 m², located at an elevation of 419 m.
Nature and surroundings
You can go for walks in the surrounding forests, right from your doorstep. There is a private fishing pond on the property, 500 m away. In the immediate vicinity, there are marked circular hiking trails, including those starting from Saint-Léger-sous-Beuvray (3 km), La Grande Verrière (4.5 km), and the Haut Folin (19 km, 900 m high), mountain bike trails, including the Grande Traversée du Massif Central 3 km away and the Voie Verte 14 km away. A pony club is 2 km away on foot or 4 km by car. Horseback riding is available 500 m away. Located in the Morvan National Park, 20 km from Autun (Roman theater, cathedral, medieval center, twice-weekly market with fresh local produce). View of Mont Beuvray (9 km). Archaeological sites, museum, beautiful views, and hiking trails nearby. 17 km from Lake Thil-sur-Arroux, 18 km from Uchon (Les Rochers du Carnaval), 33 km from the Vélo-rail d’Igornay, 35 km from Sully and Château-Chinon, 46 km from Lake Setton, 80 km from Cluny, and 50 km from the Burgundy Grand Cru Route.
