We have just started renting out. At the end of a dirt road (with only three houses) is our cottage. A private driveway gives you all the space, peace and privacy that our location can offer. With us it is still quiet and dark and the free view makes it easy to observe the beautiful sunrise and sunset. The cottage is completely free on a secluded part of our yard. You have access to a private garden with terrace and an attached conservatory. This nature house is equipped with all modern conveniences such as induction stove, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and oven. You have access to a living room with TV/wifi. From the kitchen you enter the dining room. The cottage also has a spacious bedroom with a double bed (200 long x 180 wide). There is a bathroom with a shower and double sinks. In the hall there is a separate toilet. Finally, there is a washer and dryer and plenty of closet space to store your vacation belongings.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located on the edge of the beautiful area of Westerwolde (only about 50 m. outside the area) just steps from the village of Harpel. Many short and long walking, cycling and mountain biking routes are available in the area. Or rent a canoe for a day and experience the beautiful flora and fauna from the water of the Ruiten Aa. A day at the beach at the crystal clear waters of Sellingerbeetse (see photos, about 10 km away) or try the swimming pools in Vlagtwedde and Sellingen. There are several museums to visit in the immediate vicinity. The city of Groningen can be reached in 45 minutes by car without traffic jams. Furthermore, the monastery of Ter Apel, The Castle of Wedde, the fortified town of Boertange or the Emmen Zoo, among others, are more than worth a visit. Several attractions are also within easy reach in Germany. In short, come and relax and enjoy the wide views, listening to the cuckoo, spotting pheasants, deer and a diversity of birds. Here it is still really quiet.
