Welcome to our small piece of land at the foot of Veliki Javornik (1023 m), located in the beautiful region of Bohor. The nature reserve is well known for its many springs and waterfalls. The rugged nature here offers a lot of opportunities for outdoor adventures (hiking, climbing, biking, running, buschcrafting, basic survival skills, etc...). Pieter knows the area quite well, and will gladly take you for a few nights in the wilderness. The eco-guesthouse, completely rebuilt with sustainable materials, is an old farm stable from the 19th century. There is no kitchen, but we there is a refrigerator and a coffee machine available for our guests. We also offer organic vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free and meat dishes (breakfast, lunch or dinner).
Nature and surroundings
We are a small Belgian family that moved to Slovenia about ten years ago. When you decide to stay with us you can expect a lively and enthusiastic family. Our children are 8 and 11 years old, and we also have two well-socialized dogs. In addition to hosting guests through Nature House, we also run a non-profit organization called Madre Terra. The mission of our organization is to restore Mother Earth and her inhabitants to health through Love and Connection. Below you will find a selection of what we organize: *Yoga and meditation *Breathwork (with or without ice baths) *Massages *Connecting with nature by spending longer periods in the woods *Detox programs *Fire and cocoa ceremonies, etc...

Teun July 22, 2025 General rating:Look no further for a stay in Slovenia. Lynn and Pieter are inspiring hosts, living in balance with nature. The house is situated in the middle of the Slovenian nature, very close to Kozjanski park. There are a lot of little rivers, natural sources and other POI’s close to the house which the hosts can tell you all about. One thing to keep in mind is that (especially for vega(n) diets), the Slovenian countryside does not really have a cozy dining culture. However, Lynn and Pieter offer home-grown meals which we HIGHLY recommend. I never ate so many good meals in a weeks time :-)!
The kids and dogs at the house are very social, but the hosts always offer the opportunity to be on your own. Its up to you! Thanks for the great time.Nature, peace & environment:One of the greenest regions you will find in Europe.
