A lovely home, fully equipped and featuring period details. Very charming.
Sfeervol.
Beautiful natural surroundings, a very spacious, lovely, well-maintained garden with a covered patio and a hot tub. It was wonderfully peaceful, and we even had a little deer come by to take a look.

We recently spent 10 days as guests at “Swaelvlei.” We received a very warm welcome from the host and were given a brief tour of the house and garden. The house is fully equipped with all modern conveniences; everything you need for a pleasant stay is provided. The large garden offers plenty of privacy and a wonderful sense of tranquility. You can always find a cozy spot; even when the weather isn’t great, you can sit comfortably under one of the porches. Plus, the surrounding area is more than worth exploring. There are charming villages (Bredevoort is within walking distance), small towns, and all kinds of activities to enjoy nearby. So if you love peace and nature but also want to get out and do things, “Swaelvlei” is a fantastic choice! We’ll definitely be back!!
