Small wood-and-stone farmhouse of 95m2 at the gateway to the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. Authentic, rustic charm with imperfections and marks left by time. Ground floor: large room with kitchen, dining room and living room equipped with a wood-burning stove. 1st floor: bathroom, office area and cosy space for reading or playing board games. 2nd floor: two bedrooms with double beds (160x200) and storage space. The farmhouse is equipped with electric dry inertia radiators, but if you wish to stay in winter, you'll need to light the wood-burning stove to obtain a pleasant temperature in the ground-floor living area. One stere of wood per week is included in the winter price, and a washing machine is available in the laundry room of your host's house opposite. The gîte is not recommended for young children: stairs and railings are not suitable.
Nature and surroundings
The gîte is on your host's property, opposite the main house, which is also an old farmhouse. It's right in the middle of nature, with no close neighbors. We are surrounded by several hectares of meadows, themselves surrounded by forest. The property covers an area of 5000m2. You'll have both private and shared spaces with your host. 3 private terraces are at your disposal: one in front of the gîte for morning sun, one behind for shade on hot summer days, and one in the middle of nature for relaxation. Herbs, fruits and organically grown vegetables from the garden can be offered according to season and availability. You can go for a walk directly from the property, or take the car to explore the surrounding area. You'll find all the necessary amenities within a 10-minute drive.
