Welcome to our cozy and comfortable house in a small village between Guise and Vervins. The bedrooms have Auping beds, the master bedroom has an Auping mattress. Everything delicious! A bath would give a 10 haha, but really thought of everything to make the visit as pleasant and relaxing as possible.

We were looking for a quiet place not too far from The Hague and ended up at Le Sourd. A lovely little house with really all the trimmings. It is very palpable that the owners come there with love themselves and create a loving place to share with others. Communication with Hilde was super good and fast. We unexpectedly had to leave a day early due to a death and they were so understanding and accommodating. The place is lovely with beautiful garden and lush spots. Our daughter of 1 was completely delighted and ran around happily, we picked apples and made comté with recipe from the owners. We ate outside every evening with sounds of the birds and the babbling brook. A quiet environment, with nice trips to a lake in the French Ardennes and Saint Quentin was also a nice city to visit. An area of France that we did not know yet but certainly worthwhile considering the distance. Highly recommended!

Het is zeer voelbaar dat de eigenaren er met liefde zelf ook komen en een liefdevolle plek creëren om te delen met anderen. Communicatie met Hilde verliep super goed en snel. Wij moesten onverwachts een dag eerder weg vanwege een overlijden en ze waren zo begripvol en meedenkend. De plek is heerlijk met mooie tuin en weelderige plekjes. Onze dochter van 1 was compleet in haar nopjes en liep vrolijk rond, we raapten appeltjes en maakten er comté van met recept van de eigenaren. We aten elke avond buiten met geluid van de vogeltjes en het kabbelende beekje. Een rustige omgeving, met leuke uitstapjes naar een meer in de Franse Ardennen en ook Saint Quentin was een leuke stad om te bezoeken. Een gebied van Frankrijk wat we nog niet kenden maar zeker de moeite waard ook gezien de afstand. Een aanrader!
