Nature house in Montjardin

Enjoy the tranquility, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or just relax in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night it cools down more and it is nice to sleep. Therefore, we do not need an air conditioner. In the colder months there is a wood stove (wood excl.) The chalet has an open space with an open kitchenette where the round dining table is with behind it a box bed that can be used as a sofa or as a bed (1.20), a wood stove for the winter months. On the upper floor there is a mezzanine with a king-size bed (30cm mattress) with the most exquisite bed linen (Egyptian cotton) and a cozy sitting area with windows on both sides from where you have an unobstructed view of the Pyrenees. On the first floor is the shower with toilet and sink. Of course there are towels.

Just a 10-minute drive away you will find several amenities in Chalabre such as a supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a post office, cafes and a restaurant. A 20-minute drive away is Montbel Lake, where you can swim, sail, rent canoes and fish. The location is a 40-minute drive from Carcassonne, 1.5 hours from Toulouse, and 20 minutes from Mirepoix. From the property you have views of the Pyrenees, and thanks to the nearby GR7 there are plenty of hiking opportunities. Located at an altitude of 650 meters, surrounded by nature, you can enjoy a clear starry sky and the soothing sounds of nature at night on a clear day.
