This authentic 18th-century stone house (60m2 living space) has thick traditional walls and has been completely restored. Small but nicely furnished, the house offers a cozy space for 5 to 7 people maximum. It has 3 floors, with on the upper floor 1 bedroom with 5 full single beds. The ground floor has a kitchen with fridge, freezer and gas stove. There is also a cozy dining area. The first floor has one bedroom with a bunk bed, a shower room with sink and a separate toilet. There is plenty of space for outdoor entertaining. Everyone can have fun by the river where you can swim, spot animals, read, relax. The terrace invites to a glass of wine and typical saucisson or a nice barbecue. At 2 km distance you can get delicious bread or you can have a nice evening meal at the campsite. In Joyeuse or Les Vans there are stores, ATMs and you can stroll around the weekly market.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the south of the Ardeche department. It is very quiet, with lots of greenery, lots of forest and beautiful views. There are many hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, the region is also ideal for the experienced cyclist. In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy the beauty of nature in the valley of the Drobie. 'Les gorges de l' Ardèche' and 'Vallon-Pont-d'Arc' are an hour's drive away. There are also many caves to visit in the area. The adventurous will certainly enjoy the many possibilities on and around the Chassezac or the Ardèche: canoeing, canyoning, caving. Bungee jumping, quad biking and an Adventure Camp are also among the possibilities.
