Welcome to our lovingly restored Nature house at the end of the world ;-) It is part of a farm complex with a larger farmhouse, its own Marian chapel (all buildings are listed) and a very large garden. Situated on a hill and surrounded by meadows and pastures (with Galloways cattle from the neighboring farmer), there are wonderful views of the wide landscape of the southern Eifel. The cottage has a living room, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and has a large, open-plan attic room. In the living area on the ground floor there is a warming fireplace, armchairs and a sofa with music system. One patio door to the west and one to the east with a terrace and private garden, for breakfast in the sun or as a shady spot in the hot summer. The kitchen and bathroom are well equipped. Upstairs in the rustic attic there is a wide beamed bed, a sofa corner with TV and plenty of space for yoga, meditation or similar.
Nature and surroundings
Our Nature house is beautifully situated on a hill. Three very old oak trees protect the property. It is extremely quiet here and there is a fantastic starry sky on a clear day (the only village lantern goes out at 11pm), as there is exceptionally little light pollution in this region. At the end of the property there is a wonderful seating area for sunsets. The first hiking trail begins as soon as you step out of the cottage ;-) and there are many very beautiful paths and trails in the immediate vicinity (hiking map 20m). There is an on-call bus stop at the house. The cottage is very remote, the nearest shops and restaurants are in the beautifully situated towns of Waxweiler or Neuerburg (approx. 10 km each). Further excursions e.g. Vianden (in Luxembourg, approx. 30 km) or the Devil's Gorge (approx. 35 km) ... If you are travelling with children, please contact us before booking to make arrangements.

Nothing to comment on. Everything present that you might need. The wood stove was very nice , and wood free to grab.
Niets op aan te merken. Alles aanwezig wat je nodig mocht hebben. De houtkachel was erg fijn , en hout vrij te pakken.
It was wonderful,the peace just birds singing, lovely space and private no privacy. Beautiful location. Squirrels, deer and fox spotted. Also encountered wild boar tracks with a walk from the cottage.
Het was heerlijk ,de rust alleen maar fluitende vogeltjes, heerlijke ruimte en privé geen inkijk . Mooie ligging . Eekhoorntjes, reeën en vos gespot. Ook wildzwijn sporen tegen gekomen met een wandeling vanuit het huisje.
