Hello, we are Barbara & Henri and would love to welcome you to the beautiful Morvan! This nature house is an authentic, over 100 year old house that was completely renovated and modernized in 2025. The house includes a new kitchen, bathroom, wood stove and balcony and is suitable for two persons. The cozy kitchen/living room is located with the bathroom on the ground floor, and the spacious bedroom is on the second floor. From the kitchen/living room you walk through the garden doors onto the balcony at the back of the house. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the meadows and hills. In the living room you can relax on the couch or play games by the wood stove. The cottage is located on a quiet street with a few neighbors, and from the house you walk straight into the beautiful nature!
Nature and surroundings
The Morvan is a beautiful and quiet region at a reasonable distance from the Netherlands. A region for nature lovers walking or cycling to enjoy green forests, blue lakes and quaint towns and villages. In the hilly, wooded area with large, quiet lakes you can endlessly walking, swimming and cycling. The Morvan has a coulisse landscape with forests and meadows. It is the property of many (predatory) birds, deer, foxes, wild boars and badgers, and is sometimes called 'little Canada'. The characteristic villages, vast forests and many lakes make the Morvan an excellent destination for lovers of sports and nature. In addition, lovers of culture, history, museums or wine can also indulge! The lake of Panneciére is only 10 minutes away and the more touristy 'Lac des Settons' is only 25 minutes away.
