The house is located on a hill next to a wooded area with unique fauna and flora. Spotting a fox, deer, wild boar, ... is not so exceptional! The presence of various songbirds and birds of prey complete the natural picture. Several vineyards and wine castles (including wine tasting !) in the vicinity of the vacation home, including the impressive wine castle of Monbazillac (about 10 kilometers from the vacation home) and is definitely recommended to visit. It is also possible to buy organic wines from local winegrowers. Our house is located a few kilometers from the historic center of Bergerac, which is definitely worth a visit.
Nature and surroundings
Bergerac is located on the Dordogne River, with possibility of canoeing or kayaking.The vacation rental is located next to a wooded area: great for walkers, joggers, mountain bikers and nature lovers.Fully mapped out cycling routes: from one wine castle to another with fantastic views of the vineyards ... Public nature reserve (55 hect) on Lake Pombonne with beach and unique natural area. Swimming allowed in July - August.
