Our house is nestled at an elevation of 1,000 meters in the Pre-Alps within the Baronnies Provence Regional Nature Park. Completely secluded and surrounded by natural forests, our house is a haven of peace. All our electricity is generated by solar panels, and our fresh water comes from a natural spring. Our guest house is part of a large farmhouse and is very spacious and private. The room, Edelweiss, is cozy and perfect for a couple. You’ll have access to your private terrace as well as the very spacious common room. All guests have access to all common areas: the kitchen, dining room, and garden. There may be a few other guests, but there’s always a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Emmanuel (French) and Geraldine (Australian) have lived on the property since 1992. Folco, who is French, has joined us in the adventure of running our eco-friendly household. We love hiking in the mountains, welcoming people to our little paradise, and sharing our love for this unspoiled region.
Nature and surroundings
This region is where Provence meets the southern French Alps, so we get to enjoy both. It’s an ideal playground for nature lovers, with a wide variety of options for hiking and cycling—both off-road and on-road. There are many natural spots for swimming. We have a special play area for children in the common area; the kids love it. Farming here consists of small, organic, family-run farms where they raise sheep or goats and grow spelt wheat and lavender as well. You often get the impression that time slows down here, far from the crowds. From here, you can visit well-known places such as Sisteron—the pearl of Provence—or discover the region’s hidden gems. The villages here are authentic and unspoiled by mass tourism, and the locals warmly welcome visitors. Emmanuel, a mountain guide, has extensive knowledge of this region. He can help you choose hikes, bike trails, charming medieval villages to explore, or markets to enjoy.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
- Out of respect for nature: silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Minimum age of main booker: 21 years.
- Smoking is not allowed in this nature house.
- No fireworks are allowed at this Nature House.
- No parties or events are allowed.
- Waste separation is mandatory in this nature house.
