Nature house in Le Buisson de Cadouin

The house itself is a very old, spacious, characterful home in a beautiful, green location. In the large sleeping loft, there is a moisture problem causing an invasive odor making the fabric bed frames clammy and musty. In the less accessible places there were dozens of dead insects and you share the house with the spiders in the stone jars. Landlord's response: What a shame to read this only in retrospect (after 5 weeks), especially since our contact during your stay was frequent and positive. This complaint was not voiced previously and was not noted during recent inspection. We would have loved to have addressed it immediately, as we do everything we can to keep our family home clean and comfortable.

Het huis zelf is een zeer oude, ruime, karaktervolle woning op een prachtige, groene locatie. Op de grote slaapzolder is er een vochtprobleem waardoor er een indringende geur hangt waardoor de stoffen bedframes klam en muf zijn. Op de minder goed bereikbare plaatsen lagen er tientallen dode insecten en je deelt het huis met de spinnen in de stenen kruiken.

Reactie van de verhuurder:

Wat jammer om dit pas achteraf (na 5 weken) te lezen, zeker omdat ons contact tijdens jullie verblijf frequent en positief was. Deze klacht is niet eerder geuit en is ook bij recente inspectie niet geconstateerd. We hadden het graag direct opgepakt, want we doen er alles aan om ons familiehuis schoon en comfortabel te houden.

Groen gelegen woning met grote, schaduwrijke tuin, fijn zwembad en zicht op de vallei.

Nearby is a nice large supermarket, bakery and gas station. on the banks of the Dordogne are several canoe rental companies. the towns of Limeuil and Tremolat are very worthwhile. There is much more to see but we were there (unfortunately) only 7 days.

Vlakbij is een mooie grote supermarkt, bakker en tankstation.
Aan de oevers van de Dordogne zijn verschillende kano verhuurbedrijven. de plaatsjes Limeuil en Tremolat zijn erg de moeite waard. Er is nog veel meer te zien maar wij waren er (helaas) maar 7 dagen.

In a word fantastic! Beautiful large house and very tastefully decorated. If you like cooking as we do, then everything you want is really there. In a beautiful garden is a super nice terrace where you can almost hear the silence. The pool is lovely. Starting each morning with a swim feels like "a God in France". We enjoyed and is worth repeating.

In een woord fantastisch! Mooi groot huis en heel sfeervol ingericht.
Als je houdt van koken zoals wij dan is echt alles wat je wenst aanwezig.
In een prachttuin ligt een superfijn terras waar je bijna de stilte kan horen. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Elke ochtend beginnen met een zwemrondje voelt als "een God in Frankrijk".
Wij hebben genoten en is voor herhaling vatbaar.
