Nature house in Pailharès

This nature house is located in a beautiful nature reserve in the Ardèche and is housed in an old watermill dating back to 1727. The renovated gîte is on the ground floor and still features many authentic elements. It features a sleeping/living area, a spacious kitchen with a fridge-freezer, an oven/microwave, and a 4-burner stove. There is a shower with a sink and a toilet. You’ll enjoy complete privacy in the gîte, which has its own entrance and a fenced-in garden overlooking the natural surroundings. There is a storage area for your bicycles. At the back of the property, a small stream flows by, where you’ll also find a lovely spot to sit. Here, you’ll have a large portion of the garden at your disposal and can enjoy the peace and quiet. Everything is included in the price. No additional costs. Only small pets are welcome, for which we ask a 250-euro deposit. The house is located in a peaceful, quiet natural setting from which you can take lovely walks. With e-bikes, you can explore the area and enjoy the beautiful views.

The natural surroundings where the mill stands are beautiful. It has a lot to offer nature lovers. There are hiking, mountain biking, and cycling trails. In May, thousands of flowers bloom beautifully in the wild. The gîte is located between two small villages. The charming village of St. Félicien is an 8-minute drive away. There you’ll find small bakeries, a butcher shop, mini-markets, restaurants, and a tourist office. On Fridays and Sundays, there are small markets where organic products are sold in particular. The charming village of Pailharès is a half-hour walk from the gîte, and you can enjoy beautiful views along the way. Tournon-sur-Rhône is a larger town about a half-hour drive away. In Lamastre, there’s a lively market on Tuesdays featuring delicious local products. The Ardèche is known for its delicious regional products and authentic cuisine. There’s a wide selection of delicious, organic, and sustainably produced goods from the region that the locals are rightly very proud of.
