A dream holiday home in a picturesque location in the Weserbergland! The vacation home is in an exposed location (landscape conservation area), nestled in a magnificent garden with a magnificent view of the Weserbergland. A perfect retreat for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation. The house offers comfort with charm. The rooms have a stylish simplicity with selected materials and individual antique pieces. Mighty oak beams support the ceiling and convey a sense of security; large wooden lattice windows draw the eye into the greenery and into the distance, where Schaumburg Castle towers on the Nesselberg opposite. Original lead-glazed windows were reworked by specialists to fit perfectly and now adorn the entrance to the house. Exclusive wall paints in pastel shades and high-quality linen fabrics symbolize a sense of well-being. Floors made of rustic natural stone and wide wooden floorboards emphasize the natural style of the house.
Nature and surroundings
Your vacation starts right outside the front door. The great variety of plants and the location impress in every season. On the Taubenberg you will find a Nordic walking trail, horse riding opportunities, hiking destinations such as the ruins of the Hünenburg and cycle paths along the Weser. In the valley lies the unique natural jewel "Auenlandschaft Hohenrode", which impresses with extraordinary biodiversity such as the otter, the kingfisher, the rare common tern and the majestic osprey. The cycle path runs along the Weser, passing the historic half-timbered towns of Rinteln, Hess. Oldendorf, Hameln and Bodenwerder with each other. Water sports on the river are just as exciting as a trip on an excursion boat.
