Nature house in Ermelo

A clean, neat little house with a cozy garden, made-up beds, and a small shelter for bikes. The late checkout wasn’t necessary, but it felt very relaxing. Bedroom 1 has a double bed—neatly made, but really narrow. Bedroom 2 has a half-high bed with a handy step stool. Above it is a double bed. This is a sturdy structure, though it’s a narrow bed under a sloped roof—it’s quite a climb to get into it; see the photo on the website. For 5 people, I highly recommend considering the group (age and composition) to see if this is practical, to avoid disappointment. Staying here with 5 people seems like a lot to me, given the space. There are also 4 kitchen chairs and 4 garden chairs—not 5.
Everything we needed was there. I couldn’t find the garden chair cushions at first, but it turns out they were there after all. The only thing I missed a little was a freezer compartment in the fridge (for ice cream).

Schoon net huisje met gezellige tuin, opgemaakte bedden en afdakje voor de fiets. De late uitchecktijd was niet nodig, maar voelt erg relax. In slaapkamer 1 is een tweepersoonsbed, netjes opgemaakt bed, maar wel echt smal. Slaapkamer 2 heeft een halve hoogslaper met handig opstapkrukje erbij. Daarboven is een tweepersoonsbed. Dit is een solide constructie, echter een smal bed, onder een schuin dak, een hele klim om erin te komen, zie foto op de website. Voor 5 personen is het een aanrader om te kijken naar het gezelschap (leeftijd en samenstelling) of dit handig is, om teleurstelling te voorkomen. Met 5 personen hier bivakkeren lijkt me erg veel gezien de ruimte. Er zijn ook 4 keukenstoelen en 4 tuinstoelen, en geen 5.
Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. De tuinstoelkussens kon ik niet vinden maar blijken er wel te zijn. Het enige wat ik een beetje miste was een vriesvakje in de koelkast (voor een ijsje).

We (mother and daughter) had a lovely midweek stay at this location. A small cottage in a quiet park. We heard and saw lots of birds: woodpeckers, owls, titmice, etc. We also enjoyed watching the squirrels from the patio as they scampered through the trees surrounding the cottage.
Traffic in the park is one-way, and we saw no more than a couple of cars pass by. Apart from a ping-pong table, a bocce court, and a seesaw, there are no other amenities in the park. There’s no soccer field or grassy area for playing badminton. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The cottage is a standalone property in a spacious garden.

We hebben samen (moeder en dochter) een mooie midweek gehad op deze locatie. Klein huisje op een rustig park. Veel vogels gehoord en gezien: specht, uil, mezen enz. Daarnaast genoten van de eekhoorns die we zagen vanaf het terras in de bomen rond het huisje.
Op het park zelf is het eenrichtingsverkeer, en we hebben hooguit een paar auto's voorbij zien komen. Op het park zijn behalve een tafeltennistafel, jeu de boulesbaan en een wipkip verder geen voorzieningen. Een trapveldje of grasveld om te badmintonnen is er niet. Als je rust zoekt, zit je hier op de juiste plek. Het huisje is vrijstaand in een ruime tuin.
