We offer a unique stay in a renovated 16th century farmhouse with private 10 m x 5 m pool and within walking distance of a river with roman bridge. The house is eclectically decorated with many travel souvenirs, collected furniture of brocanterien with many creative uses. The house has a spacious open living room (50 m2) with adjoining kitchen including kitchen island. The separate dining room (20 m2) gives access to the courtyard with large dining table under a shady canopy. In front of the entrance side of the vacation home is also a shaded terrace with large dining table overlooking the garden. In the garden there is a hammock, swing and petanque court. The garden is completely fenced. The pool area of the garden has secure access. Next to the large saltwater pool is a raised Bali bed and a shaded pergola with sun beds and shaded Yoga/relax platform. Finally, we offer a DISCO in the underground wine cellar.
Nature and surroundings
Our farm is in a quiet and rural location outside the village of Entrechaux, accessed via a long driveway. Besides the private pool the river Ouveze offers lots of fun for children and adults. Through a separate gate in the garden you can walk along a picturesque gravel path within 5 minutes to the Roman bridge over the river. There is also a botanical garden to visit along the river within the same walking distance. The village of Entrechaux 1 km away has an old castle on top of the hill. In the village itself there are the necessary facilities such as the bakery, tourist office and several restaurants and bars. The foot of Mont Ventoux is 6 km away as is the Roman village of Vaison la Romeine. In the vicinity there are endless hiking possibilities. Around Mont Ventoux there are many cycling routes. Further activities include trail running, mountain biking, rock climbing. Numerous Provencal markets, bric-a-brac, wine domains, restaurants, olive groves, lavender fields await you.
