Nature house in Karashka

Karashka is a fully equipped, self-catering guesthouse in Central Bulgaria, offering an authentic and charming retreat. Built in 1921, the house is one of the most beautifully restored historical homes in the region. Only natural materials like stone, clay, and wood were used in its restoration, preserving its timeless character. The stone-tiled roof evokes the spirit of the 19th century, adding a touch of history to its welcoming atmosphere. The house comfortably accommodates up to five guests, featuring three bedrooms and a bathroom on the upper floor. The ground floor offers a cozy kitchen, dining area, and living room, all designed for your convenience. An additional studio for two is located in the barn, allowing the property to host up to seven guests in total. Karashka is ideal for those looking to explore the beauty of "Central Balkan National Park" and the surrounding region. It’s also a perfect escape for anyone seeking privacy, tranquility, and enjoying nature environment.

Our house is nestled in the quiet village of Selishte, near the town of Apriltsi in central Bulgaria. This small rural neighborhood, with around 10 houses, is perched on a southern slope at an altitude of about 500 meters. Surrounded by expansive forests, it offers breathtaking views of Stara Planina’s majestic peaks, including Botev, Kademlya, and Maragidik. The village lies in a picturesque mountainous region, conveniently located along the Sevlievo–Apriltsi road. Although the road is paved with good asphalt, it features narrow sections and sharp turns, requiring careful driving. We are just a short distance from “Central Balkan National Park,” one of Europe’s largest and most significant protected areas. The park’s natural beauty and diverse ecosystem make it an ideal destination for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
