Nature house in Zorge (Walkenried)

This cottage is advertised as 7 persons but is actually 5 persons gezuen the size and amenities (e.g. 5 chairs at the table). There were three of us so that was not a problem for us.

Dit huisje wordt als 7 persoons geadverteerd, maar is eigenlijk 5 persons gezuen de grote en voorzieningen (b.v. 5 stoelen bij de tafel). Wij waren met z'n drietjes dus dat was voor ons geen probleem.

It is a beautiful area with many hiking opportunities. The cottage itself is close to a through road though.

Het is een mooie omgeving met veel wandel mogelijkheden. Het huisje zelf ligt wel dicht aan een doorgaande weg.

The apartment was rather dingy, oven not usable because very dirty, equipment as stated not usable, eg Wii.... No fly screens except in the bathroom and there torn everywhere. Garbage from the previous tenant still found, which is not possible, there were no shower towels, luckily we had our own with us. Sink and shower very stained and calcified. All in all for us devinitiv no come back. Zorge yes, this accommodation no.

Die Wohnung war eher schmuddlig, Backofen nicht nutzbar,da sehr dreckig, ausstattung wie angegeben nicht nutzbar, zb. Wii.... keine fliegengitter ausser im Bad und dort überall eingerissen. Müll vom vormieter noch gefunden,was gar nicht geht,duschtücher gab es nicht,zum glück hatten wir unsere eigenen dabei. Waschbecken und dusche sehr fleckig und verkalkt. Im gesamten für uns devinitiv kein wiederkommen. Zorge ja, diese Unterkunft nein.

Very quiet location, lots of nature

As we found the apartment in such a filthy state, the experience was not good at all.

Da wir die Wohnung in so einem verdreckten Zustand vorgefunden haben, war die Erfahrung überhaupt nicht gut.

Unfortunately, the apartment was completely filthy when we arrived. The manager provided us with cleaning materials, so we spent three hours cleaning (including dirty floors, drains in the bathroom clogged with hair, a roof terrace completely covered in bird droppings, a stuck refrigerator, dirty mattresses). The manager, Mr. Gabriel, immediately promised us a waiver of the cleaning fee and one night's stay. He himself said that given the condition of the apartment, he could not discuss it away and that a refund was a matter of course. We have been waiting for a refund ever since. Even after reminders by email, text message and telephone, nothing has happened so far. The provider, Arode, is allegedly currently based in Bulgaria and has no internet. We suspect the refund will never happen, so we can only warn against this provider and will definitely not be returning!

Leider war die Wohnung komplett verdreckt als wir ankamen. Der Verwalter stellte uns Putzsachen, so dass wir zunächst drei Stunden putzen (u.a. verdreckte Böden, mit Haaren verstopfte Abflüsse im Bad, eine komplett durch Vögel vollgekotete Dachterrasse, verklebter Kühlschrank, dreckige Matratzen). Der Verwalter, Herr Gabriel, sagte uns direkt einen Erlass der Reinigungsgebühr und einer Nacht zu. Er selbst sagte, bei dem Zustand der Wohnung könne er das nicht weg diskutieren und eine Erstattung sei selbstverständlich. Seitdem warten wir auf eine Rückerstattung. Auch nach Erinnerungen per Mail, SMS und Telefon ist bisher nichts passiert. Der Anbieter, Arode, sitzt aktuell angeblich in Bulgarien und habe kein Internet. Wir vermuten, die Rückerstattung wird es nie geben.
Wir können daher vor diesem Anbieter nur dringend warnen und werden definitiv nicht wieder kommen!
