Our cozy nature house is detached. It is a cottage with a French, rural look, characteristic and fully equipped. The layout is as follows: downstairs there is a complete kitchen and sanitary facilities. On the second floor there is a spacious bedroom with sitting area. Outside there is a fine, covered "second" kitchen with seating area. Our guests can enjoy a large, quiet, leafy lawn with space and privacy. Half of the beautiful field is enclosed by the Salon River. Swimming, fishing, cooling off, everything is possible. Bird lovers will not be bored here either.The site is car-free, there is a private parking lot in front of the entrance to the site. Charging an electric car is possible at 200 meters distance. The cottage is ideal for 2 persons, but in consultation there are possibilities for multiple sleeping places in the form of sofa beds or a tent on the field.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Champlitte, surrounded by greenery. Champlitte is a nice town to stroll through with a chateau, bakery, supermarket, tabac, restaurants, brocante, tourist office, museum and two wineries. In the immediate vicinity you can enjoy walking and cycling in a hilly area with forests, rivers and farmlands. There are many marked trails. You can even walk parts of the famous pilgrimage route Via Francigena, which goes through Champlitte. For more culture, restaurants and large supermarkets, you can visit typical French towns such as Gray and Langres. About an hour's drive away are the historic towns of Besançon and Dijon for a pleasant day trip. Also worth visiting in the area are several chateaus, recreational waters, caves and vide greniers (on Sundays).
