Just unwind in the Veluwe, in the middle of the forest with a private sauna? This cozy wooden cottage is fully equipped. The kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and Senseo. Upstairs is a bedroom with a double bed and a sofa bed that can also serve as an extra bed. Comforters and pillows are provided; bed linen can be rented optionally. Please note: the stairs up are a bit narrow and steep, and therefore less suitable if you have difficulty walking. Downstairs is air-conditioning-heating: quickly warm in winter, cool in summer. The bathroom is modern and equipped with heating, washing machine and dehumidifier. Bath linens can be rented extra. There is WiFi via high-speed fiber optic Internet and a secretary to work on. For relaxation: Google TV, books, games and a puzzle. Outside you will find a picnic table and a charging point for electric cars. Price includes VAT (9% → 21% in 2026).
Nature and surroundings
The cottage stands on 850 m² of private, fenced land and offers plenty of privacy, especially in the green and sheltered backyard overlooking forest. In the immediate vicinity you will find both forest and moorland. Hours of walks in silence and seclusion are possible, with a chance of seeing deer, wild boar, squirrels, badgers and birds of prey. If you leave some nuts or seeds outside, jays, woodpeckers and other forest birds will come along naturally. In the spring the nesting boxes are inhabited by tits, and the cottage is in the forest so you will hear birds and the rustling or scurrying of animals. Even at night there is plenty of life, such as owls or badgers. Cyclists enjoy the cycling routes, forest paths, landscaped MTB routes and vast heathlands in August and September beautiful purple color. The location is excellent: via the A50 you in 10 minutes in Apeldoorn and 20 minutes in Arnhem. In wet weather or on sunny weekend days, traffic can be audible, but in the evening the peace always returns.
