Nice big house. It has a fairly large garden with shade and sun, plus a terrace where you can eat pleasantly. The living room is wonderfully spacious with comfortable furniture. Thick walls and window shutters keep it quite cool on hot days. Kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses, dishes, pans and the like. Very thoughtful that some basic necessities such as oil, salt, pepper, coffee, as well as shampoo, are provided.
Mooi groot huis. Het heeft een redelijk grote tuin met schaduw en zon, plus een terras waar je prettig kunt eten. De woonkamer is heerlijk ruim met comfortabele meubels. Door de dikke muren en de luiken voor de ramen blijft het er vrij koel op warme dagen. Keuken is goed voorzien, met ruim voldoende borden, bestek, glazen, schalen, pannen en dergelijke. Heel attent dat er wat basisbenodigdheden zoals olie, zout, peper, koffie, maar ook shampoo, aanwezig zijn.
Lovely house in a nice place. Directly from the house we were within 200m in the forest. From there you can walk to the village, but also do a nice dog walk of ~2.5km. We saw deer and tracks of wild boar, badgers and foxes among others within 500m of the house. The tawny owl and seven sleepers provided the right night sounds.The road right past the house is not busy.Auvergne has much to offer in terms of nature and landscape. It is varied (hills, forest, heathland, rocks, fields, meadows, rivers and streams) and quiet. There are beautiful villages and castles to see.

We hebben o.a. reeën en sporen van wilde zwijnen, dassen en vossen gezien binnen 500m van het huis. De bosuil en zevenslaper zorgden voor de juiste nachtgeluiden.
