Located in the quiet outskirts of Doetinchem, this nature house is designed for cycling and hiking enthusiasts. The modern 40m² accommodation offers comfort and sustainability including solar panels, underfloor heating and air conditioning. It is smoke and pet-free and features a private garden with terrace and a barrel sauna. There are facilities for cleaning bikes, a covered bike storage and charging point for bikes. The cozy interior is decorated with recycled materials. The accommodation has a kitchen, cozy living room with dining area/workplace, luxury bedroom with box spring, bathroom with walk-in shower and free wifi. Optionally, an extensive organic breakfast package can be booked for the first morning. Use of the sauna can be at an additional cost per stay. The charging station (car) is optional. City bikes can be borrowed for trips into town. This nature house is the ideal place to unwind, enjoy nature and explore the Achterhoek.
Nature and surroundings
At this nature house you can leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you and enjoy everything the Achterhoek has to offer. So you are by bike in about 10 minutes in the center of Doetinchem where you will find several nice stores, cozy restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues. Just outside the city is the beautiful estate Hagen with Castle the Kelder, the Kruisberg Woods and Slangenburg Estate. There are several nice places to visit in the area, such as the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg. The famous Pieterpad, which winds through the Achterhoek, offers an unforgettable hiking experience. From the nature house there are numerous cycling routes, ideal for both the recreational and the more experienced cyclist. For mountain bikers, gravel riders and racing cyclists, the region also offers several challenging routes.
