Our nature house is a characteristic Ardennes farmhouse with attached barn (bicycle storage) and underneath two stables. It is located in Engreux, a village near Houffalize. There are two parking spaces. The old style of the house has been maintained, with modifications. On the ground floor are the cozy, fully equipped kitchen, the comfortable living room with fireplace, and at the back the spacious bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. On the second floor are two bedrooms, each with a large double bed. A crib (max. 4yrs.) can be added on request. The front garden faces south, centrally in the village, while the back garden looks out over the hills to the River Ourthe.
Nature and surroundings
Engreux is a small farming village located between two arms of the River Ourthe. Because of this, unlike most Ardennes villages, there is no through traffic. You leave the village via the same road you entered. This situation traditionally gives the village its telling nickname: "Le bout du monde".
