Nature house in Francorchamps

We got the code of the key safe only after we were already waiting in front of the house for 15 minutes. Downstairs is cozy with nice sitting area by the TV and sitting area by the fireplace. The cottage itself is extremely noisy, so that took some getting used to. It is useful to communicate in advance that it is not possible to drink from the tap, so that one can bring bottles of water. The tip for extra extension cords from another review was a good one. And a manual of the house would indeed also be handy. For example, there was a remote control that did not work on the TV and our youngest found a few days later, among the couch cushions, another remote that was fine to control the TV. The (rain) shower is fantastic! Perhaps a tip to update the photos, because the Airfryer as it seemed to be in the photo was nowhere to be found.

We kregen de code van de sleutelkluis pas nadat we al een kwartier voor het huis stonden te wachten. Beneden is gezellig met leuke zithoek bij de TV en zithoek bij de openhaard. Het huisje zelf is enorm gehorig, dus dat was wel even wennen. Wel handig om van te voren te communiceren dat er niet uit de kraan gedronken kan worden, zodat men flessen water mee kan nemen. De tip voor extra verlengsnoeren van een andere recensie was een goede. En een handleiding van het huis zou inderdaad ook handig zijn. Zo lag er een afstandsbediening die het niet deed op de tv en vond onze jongste paar dagen later, tussen de kussens van de bank, een andere afstandsbediening die wel goed was om de tv mee te bedienen. De (regen)douche is fantastisch!
Wellicht een tip om de foto’s te updaten, want de Airfryer zoals op de foto te zien leek was nergens te vinden.

The surroundings are beautiful, everywhere you could walk very nicely. It was not necessarily quiet with the sounds of the Spa circuit in the background. The stream behind the cottage the children loved, building dams with the stones, etc.

De omgeving is prachtig, overal kon je heel mooi wandelen. Het was niet perse rustig met de geluiden van het Spa circuit op de achtergrond.
Het beekje achter het huisje vonden de kinderen fantastisch, dammen bouwen met de stenen, etc.

Everything you need, cozy layout. Floor does creak a bit but that's just the way it is with a wooden chalet.

Alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt, gezellige indeling. Verdiepingsvloer kraakt wel een beetje maar dat is nu eenmaal zo bij een houten chalet.

Laatste huis van de straat, super rustig, beek achter het huis, aan de bosrand. Hoogspanningsmasten wel vlak bij maar stoorde ons niet

This was our 1st nature house and we liked it. Deliberately chose a pool for the kids. Next time I will definitely go for a nature house again! Communication was top notch.

Dit was ons 1e natuurhuisje en dat beviel prima. Bewust gekozen voor een zwembad voor de kinderen.
Volgende keer ga ik zeker weer voor een natuurhuisje!

Lovely stay had. Nice cottage, totally our taste, but not super clean. Quiet location. In the Ardennes you are always beautiful.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Leuk huisje, helemaal onze smaak, maar niet super schoon. Wel netjes allemaal.
Rustige ligging. In de Ardennen zit je altijd mooi.
