For those seeking peace and quiet. With wide views and neighbors far away, at the foot of La Peñya Roya, nestled among almond and olive trees, lies Rancho PeleLuz. You are in southeast Spain and have made the turn into rugged country. The last few meters are rocky, a transition from rules to space, from bustle to calm. Laid-back life begins. Catch your breath, switch off, feel free, from the moment you arrive. Take up residence in calm, simplicity and purity. The rancho is the ideal place to relax, muse, hike, or by "just" doing nothing. Hospitality and a natural respect for privacy go hand in hand with us. Stroll our 2.7-acre property, wander through the garden full of cacti, sit on a bench, pick some figs, read a book or take a dip in the pool. A yoga studio is also available. Our place is also your place. Our grounds are home to 2 friendly dogs, who keep uninvited guests at an appropriate distance.
Nature and surroundings
Rancho Peleluz is surrounded by rugged nature, with cacti, rocks and trees formed by weather and wind. You imagine yourself in an old western. Take a walk through the Barranco de les Salinas (3km from the rancho), the "little Grand Canyon," with dark red and green hues that evoke wonder. Or climb La Penya Roya (it's located behind the rancho), a big gut-buster that rewards you at the end of the hike with stunning panoramic views and an air show of 10 vultures. The inhabited world is only 15 minutes away from the rancho. In Xixona you can enjoy the traditional ice cream and turron for which the town is famous. Should you want a day at the sea, the beach at El Campello is only a 35-minute drive away. And if you are feeling creative, there is an art studio available for making collages or a mood board. We are always available for tips, itineraries and company!
