Nature house in Scharendijke

Cozy, fully equipped. Tastefully decorated! Even the outdoors has been thought of, nothing is lacking. Unfortunately, due to stupid timing of the horror flu, I only enjoyed the bed.

Knus, van alle gemakken voorzien. Smaakvol ingericht! Ook aan het buitenleven is gedacht, het ontbreekt aan niets. Helaas heb ik door een stomme timing van de horrorgriep alleen van het bed genoten.

Unfortunately, I was very sick during the stay so we didn't see anything of the area. But the beach and the sea never bothered us, so it must be beautiful! The campsite itself is still partly under construction, but from what we saw now we already got very excited. Really a beautiful, peaceful place!

Helaas ben ik heel erg ziek geweest gedurende het verblijf dus we hebben niets van de omgeving gezien. Maar het strand en de zee vervelend nooit, dus het is vast prachtig! De camping zelf is nog deels in aanbouw, maar van wat we nu zagen werden we al erg enthousiast. Echt een mooie, rustgevende plek!

Without digs, it definitely would have been a 10!

Zonder graafwerkzaamheden was het zeker een 10 geweest!

The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos: super cozy, with an Ibiza surf vibe. Equipped with all conveniences. We gratefully used the wood stove, for warmth and extra atmosphere. The terrace is fantastic. Now it was too cold at night, but in summer it seems wonderful. There was also a fire pit/BBQ but we did not use it.One thing did disturb our peace quite a bit: both on Friday until around 18 and on Saturday from 7am there were earthworks at the campsite, right next to our spot. The campsite is still under development and it will be beautiful, but the constant noise of the excavator from early in the morning was very disturbing. We indicated twice at the reception that we found it very annoying, but "We can't do anything about it, we didn't know they were coming this weekend." was unfortunately the only answer we got.

Het huisje is precies zoals op de foto's: super gezellig, met een Ibiza-surf vibe. Voorzien van alle gemakken. We hebben dankbaar gebruik gemaakt van de houtkachel, voor warmte en extra sfeer. Het terras is fantastisch. Nu was het `s avonds te koud, maar in de zomer lijkt het me heerlijk. Er was ook een vuurschaal/BBQ maar die hebben we niet gebruikt.
Eén ding heeft onze rust wel behoorlijk verstoord: zowel op vrijdag tot rond 18 als op zaterdag vanaf 7u `s ochtends waren er grondwerkzaamheden op de camping, precies naast onze plek. De camping is nog in ontwikkeling en het wordt prachtig, maar het constante geluid van de graafmachine al vanaf vroeg in de ochtend was erg storend. We hebben twee keer bij de receptie aangegeven dat we het heel vervelend vonden, maar "We kunnen er niets aan doen, we wisten niet dat ze dit weekend zouden komen." was helaas het enige antwoord wat we kregen.
