Nature house in Boelenslaan

Our nature house is a beautiful dome decorated in an Asian style. Located in the middle of a food forest and surrounded by bamboo, privacy is guaranteed in this dome. You’ll have your own shower and toilet inside the dome and a lovely outdoor hot tub, which you can walk to in the warmth of the bathrobes we provide. This dome is fully insulated and equipped with a cozy wood stove. We’ll deliver your breakfast in a picnic basket each morning. This dome is also available during the winter months. Firewood and bath salts are available from us for a fee of €17.50. We use only our own firewood in our stove and hot tub. We, the owners, have years of experience working at various renowned hotels and on cruise ships, and we know exactly what guests need! We offer casual luxury and nature! We’ll prepare the hot tub with bath salts, oil, and firewood; all you have to do is light the fire yourself. (€17.50 mandatory fee, payable on site)

This nature house is located in a food forest where you can pick berries, apples, and pears. You can find all the information about our food forest here. The garden features a beautiful natural pond with koi carp, which also attracts many birds. Herons, common terns, cormorants, and even kingfishers have been spotted here. You’ll also experience nature up close and see hares and roe deer in the meadows in the morning. In the surrounding area, you’ll find various restaurants and day trips! For example, boating in the Alde Feanen, a day trip to Dokkum, or shopping in Groningen or Leeuwarden. Mudflat walking and a visit to one of the islands. You can also explore the Frisian forests on a rented electric bike or e-chopper. In short, there’s plenty to do. A magazine with information and a to-do list is available for you at the Dome!
