Welcome to this nature house, a charming detached house located in the small village of St. Merd de Lapleau in the Corrèze region of France. This nature house is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation surrounded by nature. The house can accommodate up to 4 people. The living room, bathroom, and toilet are located on the ground floor; the kitchen-dining area is on the mezzanine level; and on the first floor, you’ll find two double bedrooms, each with a double bed (180x200), and an additional toilet. All floors are separated by a few steps, so the rooms are on staggered levels. It is fully furnished, including linens, a well-stocked bookshelf, board games, a Smart TV, and a DVD player with a selection of over 400 movies, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen is also equipped with all the conveniences, such as a fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, small dishwasher, a Nespresso machine, a Dolce Gusto machine, and a kettle.
Nature and surroundings
The house offers a comfortable stay in a peaceful setting. Thanks to the fenced-in garden of approximately 1,800 m², the house is also perfect for your four-legged friend. From the garden, you can walk straight into the woods. Parking is available right outside the door. The area around St. Merd de Lapleau offers countless opportunities for nature walks, bike rides, and relaxation. Discover the beautiful lake at Marcillac-la-Croisille, where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, picnicking, or simply having a drink and a snack at the beach bar. In Marcillac, you’ll find a bakery, a pharmacy, and a small supermarket. The Dordogne and its scenic viewpoints are also worth visiting. Explore the Château de Sédières and its estate, crisscrossed by beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails; go shopping in Brive; or stroll through the streets of Collonges-la-Rouge. Egletons is a must-visit for groceries; here you’ll find three supermarkets, pizzerias, restaurants, a bakery, and much more.
