Statelan Logies is a historic monumental farmhouse located in the heart of Friesland, about 10 km south of Leeuwarden. We, Ella and Atze, are the proud owners of the Statelân and would like our guests to enjoy our special place. We are bon vivants, entrepreneurs, fond of dogs and horses and we love cosiness, rest and relaxation. We enjoy offering guests a nice, restful and pleasant stay. We live on this farm with our black labrador Famke, cat Sem and our two Friesian horses Gloria and Diamond. Both Friesian mares are expecting a foal in May. The accommodation is located in the middle of Friesland, near Leeuwarden, Sneek and Grou. Sneek and Grou have many nice stores and restaurants and in summer they are known for their vibrant water sports life. Leeuwarden is a beautiful city with canals, nice stores, restaurants and terraces. The Fries Museum, the Nature Museum and not to forget the Ceramics Museum are definitely worth a visit. From here you can make beautiful cycling and hiking trips.
