We look forward to welcoming you to our little house, set in a quiet, enclosed courtyard planted with trees and flowers. The house is equipped with wifi, and includes a living/dining room with a TV, a small music system, games and books for adults and children. Above the living room is a bedroom with 2 single beds that can be made into a double. The kitchen is well equipped (stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, household products). The bathroom has a washing machine. The couple's bedroom (bed 140x200) adjoins a twin-bedded room with access to the garden, where you'll find a barbecue, tables, chairs, garden furniture and sun loungers. The courtyard is a delight for birds. In June, we'll be opening the secure swimming pool (5mx2mx1.20m), and there's plenty of parking space in the courtyard.
Nature and surroundings
Behind the house you can enjoy a huge field overlooking the surrounding area. The view is particularly beautiful at sunset. The large meadow overlooking this field is our future orchard. We have planted fig, almond, peach, pear, apple, chestnut and other trees. Our house is located at the crossroads of tourist attractions such as: - Saumur (town and château) 40 minutes away, - Chinon (town and château) 25 minutes away, - Montreuil-Bellay (town and château), - Ile Bouchard (sanctuary) 30 minutes away, - Poitiers 45 minutes away, - Château d'Azay le Rideau 45 minutes away. Attractions are not far away either, with: - Futuroscope 45 minutes away, - Puy du Fou 1h30 away, - Center Parcs du Bois aux Daims 20 minutes away, - Doué la Fontaine zoo 30 minutes away. There are also a number of attractive châteaux to visit, such as the Château de Monts sur Guesnes, 20 minutes away, which is highly interactive for children.
