Our robust wooden chalet is tastefully and practically furnished for 2 people. It is hidden between imposing holm oaks, which provide not only privacy but also the necessary shade in summer. Its location on a southern slope offers a spectacular view over the forested promontory of the Parc Haut Languedoc and the Narbonne valley. Due to the large windows, this nature house is bright inside and looks spacious. It has a large terrace all around and a private path to the pool, which you share with 2 other guests. The distance to the owners' house is 70m. To the hamlet of Belleraze about 150m. Absolute peace and quiet, combined with the breathtaking views, make this place unique.
Nature and surroundings
Between the mountains of the Parc Haut Languedoc and the Mediterranean Sea lies Belleraze, a tiny village belonging to St.Jean de Minervois. Typical of this region are the vineyards, the gorges, the garigue smelling of thyme and wild lavender and the many holm oaks. Nature is wild and often impenetrable. Yet there are many bicycle (w.o.VTT) and hiking trails to discover this beautiful natural area. Besides sleepy Mediterranean villages with their typical local markets, the major historical cities such as Carcassonne, Bezièrs and Narbonne are within driving distance (50-60km).
