Het huisje straalt warmte en rust uit.
Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

It would be an addition if bikes could be rented at the cottage, also because the nearest bike rental is a half-hour walk away. A larger bath towel would be nicer and anyway 1 towel per person is a bit meager. A scouring pad and plastic cutting boards do not belong in a nature house because of the microplastics they unfortunately cause.

Het zou een aanvulling zijn als er fietsen bij het huisje te huren zijn, ook omdat de dichtstbijzijnde fietsenverhuur op een half uur lopen afstand zit. Een grotere badhanddoek zou prettiger zijn en sowieso is 1 handdoek per persoon wat karig. Een schuursponsje en plastic snijplanken horen vanwege de microplastics die ze helaas veroorzaken, niet thuis in een natuurhuisje.

This former garage in the owners' garden is a fine cottage for a weekend in the Veluwe for two. We experienced sufficient privacy. Because there are only windows at the front, it is dark in the cottage and the lighting plan is rather unfathomable, we did not get 2 lamps on or maybe they were defective. Anyway, there were candles enough to make it cozy. The cottage is a bit damp, you can smell that too, but then again we did not fire the pellet stove. The headroom in the attic is sufficient, good bed with firm mattress. Unfortunately no screen for the skylight and also blackout is missing, so at the crack of dawn the light sleeper wakes up. Furthermore, we missed a couch to stretch out on after walks. And there is no towel dryer, leaving you with wet towels.

Deze voormalige garage in de tuin van de eigenaren is een fijn huisje voor een weekendje Veluwe met z'n tweeën. Wij hebben voldoende privacy ervaren. Doordat er alleen ramen aan de voorzijde zijn, is het in het huisje donker en het lichtplan is tamelijk ondoorgrondelijk, wij hebben 2 lampen niet aan gekregen of wellicht zijn ze defect. Maar goed, er waren kaarsjes genoeg om het gezellig te maken. Het huisje is wat vochtig, dat ruik je ook, maar goed wij hebben dan ook de pelletkachel niet gestookt. De stahoogte op de vliering is voldoende, goed bed met stevig matras. Helaas geen hor voor het dakraam en ook verduistering ontbreekt, dus bij het krieken van de dag wordt de lichte slaper wakker. Verder misten we een bank om lekker languit op uit te rusten na de wandelingen. En er is geen handdoekendroger, waardoor je met natte handdoeken zit.

Fine cottage. Quiet location and good base for the Veluwezoom. Upstairs when sleeping only what little headroom. Nice that there is a mosquito net. In rainy weather just turn on the electric heater otherwise the air quickly damp in the cottage. Other amenities include a nice shower, complete kitchen and a slightly too small refrigerator.

Prima huisje. Rustig gelegen en goede uitvalsbasis voor de Veluwezoom. Boven bij het slapen alleen wat weinig stahoogte. Fijn dat er een klamboe is. Bij regenachtig weer even de elektrische kachel aanzetten anders wordt de lucht al snel vochtig in het huisje. Verder van alle gemakken voorzien zoals een fijne douche, complete keuken en een iets te kleine koelkast.
