This newly(late 2025) built robust, Scandinavian-inspired lodge amid 90-year-old Douglas firs in a unique spot on the Veluwe in the forest area of Emst exudes peace, space & natural luxury. With room for 2-5 people, this is the ideal vacation home for those who love a cool interior, wood accents & warm atmosphere in a special setting; the base for lovers of nature and the outdoors. Inside the lodge (sustainable & ecological) is comfortable by the warmth v/d fireplace. Surrounded by wood and rustic details, you find yourself in a unique atmosphere, an experience! The veranda with lounge set is the place to relax / drink / enjoy the outdoors. At the fire-sitting pit you can warm up. The lodge has a luxury kitchen with sitting area & living room. En dat het veel had geregend, kan natuurlijk niemand wat aan doen ;-)A super cottage and (as far as we are concerned) the nicest of this cozy vacation park: cozy, modern, well cared for, wonderful shower and beds! Also a nice, large garden with sitting pit. Unfortunately, because of the weather we were not able to use it, but the view of it from the kitchen was also nice. We also had a great time hiking (with rain gear) in this beautiful and quiet area. And for dog owners: there is a lovely off-leash area (Gortelse weg) about half an hour's walk from the cottage. Furthermore, good service from the owners (responded quickly to messages).
