Nature house in Emst

We had a great time.

We hebben het heel erg naar onze zin gehad.

Fine, cozy,complete cottage. Nice beds. Easy, friendly and quick contact with the owner.

Fijn, gezellig,compleet huisje. Fijne bedden. Makkelijk, vriendelijk en snel contact met de eigenaar.

We are very satisfied and would love to go back again! 1, minus point was the pallet stove. This we found difficult to dose so it was a few times much too hot. But we solved this by opening a door. This was probably not because of the stove, we just had to get used to it..... 2, minus: On the photos you see no surrounding houses. On arrival it does look different than when booking say. We have not been bothered by this. But the 2nd day came the family behind you in their cottage, with very young children who then go play in the garden. This was by the pictures and description a setback for the rest, but we have children ourselves so it was not a problem. Response from landlord: Thanks for your stay and feedback. Regarding the pellet fireplace: if it is too hot, it is best to turn off the fireplace or open all doors so that the heat spreads better (see information folder in the lodge).
It is mentioned here that the lodge is located on a small park in nature, and is not completely detached, and in addition, all cottages are on spacious plots with lots of privacy (our area is 900 m²). Because you stayed in the crocus vacation, it may be a little busier; outside the vacations we usually receive guests/couples who come for the peace and nature.

Wij zijn zeer tevreden en gaan graag nog een keer terug!
1, minpuntje was de pallet-kachel. Deze vonden wij moeilijk te doseren dus het was een paar keer veel te warm. Maar dit hebben wij opgelost door even lekker een deur open te zetten. Dit lag hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet aan de kachel maar moesten wij er gewoon nog aan wennen.....
2, minpuntje: Op de foto's zie je geen omliggende huisjes. Bij aankomst ziet het er toch anders uit dan bij de boeking zeg maar. Wij hebben ons daar verder niet aan gestoord. Maar de 2e dag kwam het gezin achter jullie in hun huisje, met hele jonge kinderen die dan lekker gaan spelen in de tuin. Dit was door de foto's en beschrijving even een tegenvaller voor de rust, maar we hebben zelf ook kinderen dus was het verder ook geen probleem.

M.b.t. de pellethaard: wordt het te warm, dan kunt u de haard het beste even uitzetten of alle deuren openen zodat de warmte zich beter verspreidt (zie infomap in de lodge).
Er staat hier vermeld dat de lodge zich op een kleinschalig park in de natuur bevindt, en niet volledig vrijstaand is, en daarbij staan alle huisjes op ruime percelen met veel privacy (ons terrein is 900 m²).
Omdat jullie in de krokusvakantie verbleven kan het iets drukker zijn; buiten de vakanties ontvangen we meestal gasten/stellen die voor de rust en natuur komen.

The cottage was very nicely located. You really come to rest and you are back to being completely aware of the Dutch nature around you. We saw squirrels, lots of birds and even a pine marten. And you only find them in very quiet areas! Directly across the park you can walk into a boar area. Completely overgrown and we made beautiful pictures there. The cottage is very clean and very cozy, you feel right at home. Especially for people who are used to the Scandinavian Lodges, or ever want to go there, this is highly recommended. You don't find them like this much in the Netherlands. There is a lot to do in the area and all the information is clearly available in the Lodge itself. Highly recommended is with the forester to the wisent! Also the access and departure from the cottage is easy, clear and very nice this way. The guidance and help from the owners is particularly good!

Het huisje was heel mooi gelegen. Je komt echt tot rust en je hebt weer even helemaal oog voor de Nederlandse natuur om je heen. Wij hebben eekhoorns, heel veel vogels en zelfs een boommarter gezien. En die vind je alleen in hele rustige gebieden! Direct aan de overkant van het parkje wandel je zo een zwijnen gebied in. Helemaal omgewoeld en we hebben daar mooie foto's gemaakt. Het huisje is heel schoon en bijzonder gezellig ingericht, je voelt je direct thuis. Zeker voor mensen die de Scandinavische Lodges zijn gewend, of er ooit eens naartoe willen, is dit een echte aanrader. Zo vind je ze niet veel in Nederland. In de omgeving is ontzettend veel te doen en die info is ook allemaal duidelijk aanwezig in de Lodge zelf. Extra aanrader is met de boswachter naar de Wisent! Ook de toegang en vertrek uit het huisje is makkelijk, duidelijk en heel fijn op deze manier. De begeleiding en hulp van de eigenaren is bijzonder goed!

What a gem. Very nice lodge, made and furnished with care. Beautiful location on a large piece of land.Squirrels present daily, so are the many species of birds.And what a silence, so beautiful to listen to

Wat een pareltje. Zeer fijne lodge, met zorg gemaakt en ingericht. Prachtige ligging op groot stuk grondgebied.
Eekhoorntjes dagelijks aanwezig, zo ook de vele soorten vogels.
En wat een stilte, zo mooi om te luisteren
