The agriturismo is located in a natural paradise at an altitude of 1,000 meters, in the heart of the Monti Sibillini National Park in the Marche region. The landscape is rich in biodiversity, breathtaking views and beautiful medieval villages to discover, with their stores and typical restaurants, far from the main tourist routes and mass tourism. The farmhouse dates back to the 1800s and has been recently renovated maintaining original features such as stone and wood. It consists of 3 independent apartments and welcomes nature and trekking lovers who are looking for tranquility and contact with local people, history and traditions, for an authentic and rejuvenating vacation. There are numerous hiking trails in the area, such as the Gola dell'Infernaccio, the legendary Mount Sibilla, Mount Vettore and Lake Pilatom, where you can discover and appreciate the beauty of the Sibillini Mountains on your own or as part of guided excursions.
Nature and surroundings
The farmhouse is surrounded by meadows and woods and is located on the slopes of Mount Sibilla, the mountain from which the Sibillini Park takes its name, a place rich in stories and legends, whose summit with spectacular views can be reached directly from the farmhouse. The panoramic location allows a glimpse of the rolling hills of the Marche region with villages in the distance, all the way to the Adriatic coast. The nearest village is Montemonaco, which is 5 km away, where you can buy typical products and eat in characteristic restaurants. Forty minutes away is the extraordinary Castelluccio plateau, with its typical cultivations of lentils and legumes and the spectacular multicolored flowering that can be admired between June and July. Near the house you can also walk to the Infernaccio Gorge, a canyon carved by the Tenna River in a wild and fascinating landscape.
