Nature house in Malmedy

chair seats broken, heating in the bathroom did not work, wood for the wood stove would be present, but was not. Luckily we had made it, otherwise the cottage would not have been warm with the electric heaters. Not very clean and paintwork was no longer up to date. Crockery, cutlery etc was all in order and more than sufficient. Furnishing was otherwise cozy. Probably about ten years ago refurbished and redecorated, but then not well kept. Check in via self check in. No problem, but no one from the cottage reachable by phone and that is not nice for questions or uncertainties.

stoelzittingen kapot, verwarming in de badkamer deed het niet, hout voor de houtkachel zou aanwezig zijn, maar was het niet. Dat hadden we gelukkig gehaald, anders was het huisje niet warm geworden met de elektrische kacheltjes. Niet heel erg schoon en schilderwerk was niet meer up to date.
Servies, bestek etc was allemaal netjes op orde en ruim voldoende. Inrichting was verder wel gezellig. Waarschijnlijk een jaar of tien geleden opgeknapt en opnieuw ingericht, maar daarna niet meer goed bijgehouden.

Inchecken via self check in. Geen probleem, maar niemand van het huisje bereikbaar per telefoon en dat is niet fijn bij vragen of onduidelijkheden.

Environment is great, we had beautiful walks. In the summer you can also cycle there wonderfully.

Omgeving is geweldig, we hebben prachtig gewandeld. In de zomer fiets je er ook heerlijk.

Zie bovenstaande. Het was erg vies en enorm koud. Er zat geen hout bij de houtkachel dus we konden het niet warm krijgen helaas.

The surroundings were beautiful! Unfortunately, it was not completely clean. The floor was very dirty and also there were all accumulations of dust threads hanging from the ceiling. The water heater kept shooting out so we couldn't take a hot shower. The TV didn't work either and there were rugs on the couch but they were extremely dusty.

De omgeving was prachtig! Helaas was het niet helemaal goed schoon. De vloer was erg vies en ook hingen er allemaal ophopingen van stofdraden aan het plafond. De boiler schoot er telkens uit dus konden we niet warm douchen. De tv deed het ook niet en er lagen kleedjes op de bank maar die waren enorm stoffig.

Malmedy is a beautiful city. Cottage does have some work points - chairs are really worn out there were holes in not really pleasant to sit on - we wanted to take shower - initially only cold water apparently you have to put boiler was not mentioned anywhere in the brochure - neighbor who comes directly sawing because we apparently on his parking while we were on the parking indicated in the brochure - and know that the TV is only there as a show element! That there is no wifi is absolutely no problem. But just with a screen you can not do anything nowadays ... It was very quiet because we were a music box forgotten to take - good beds

Malmedy is een prachtige stad. Huisje heeft toch een aantal werkpunten.
- stoelen zijn echt versleten er zaten gaten in niet echt aangenaam op op te zitten
- we wouden douche nemen - initieel enkel koud water blijkbaar moet je boiler opzetten stond nergens vermeld in de brochure
- buurman die direct komt zagen omdat we blijkbaar op zijn parking staan terwijl we op aangegeven parking stonden van de brochure
- en weet dat de tv er enkel staat als show element !
Dat er geen wifi is absoluut geen probleem.
Maar enkel met een scherm kan je tegenwoordig niets aanvangen …
Het was dan ook zeer rustig want we waren een muziek boxje vergeten meeenemen
